Fished the Santiam this morning hit my two favroit spots and got nothing nada zilce. Not even a bite. When I got home I noticed the flow and depth gauge were dropping the whole time I was there. Is there a connection here or did I just stink today

I think you just stunk today  J/K In my little experience, usually the bite turns on when the water's dropping. Might be different on different rivers though.

I'd have to agree with Ty, if they ain't biting they probably aren't there. Fishing is just like golf, addicting as hell but can never master!!!!

I agree to, but I don't know squat. The Santiam is looking good. I may have to walk into fishermans bend this weekend...

There's not an abundance of fish over the falls yet, so it's hit and miss, until the numbers pick up.
