Default High tech sonar thread?

I tried searching for the thread where a SD had a PC based sonar/mapping program but ovbiously didn't use the right key words. One of the SDs had posted some pics that showed amazing offshore structure beyond the Banana or was it Tuna Town? At any rate, I'm curious as to what product he (or she) used. Anyone have a clue what thread I'm talking about?

Chum Bucket,

This is a long shot, but are you talking about the Nobletec mapping and nav software that you can hook up to your GPS?

Yeah, that may be it. It just showed the bottom in 3D. Looked like am aerial view of some mountains, but underwater. I wish I could remember the subject it popped up on. I want to upgrade some things. May go with a PC based system.

I looked around some and this seems to be the best I could find that would work on a laptop. http://http://www.landfallnavigation...navigator.html
A bit spendy I think for me at this time though. I think it might integrate with other electronics onboard. It might be real cool but I will wait on htis. I think I can find someway better to get this information.
