Default What's this worth?

I was digging through some old memories tonight and relocated my old Tonka Truck construction set I got for Christmas back in, sheesh 1971, 72'???

I was rough on my toys as a kid but for some strange reason I never took these trucks out in the dirt or even remember playing with them at all.

I don't have the box cover but I still have the styrofoam container where they rest. The trucks do not have a scratch on them, even the Tonka stickers look like new and the rubber on the bulldozer is still in great shape.

I wonder what they would sell for? Not that I'm planning on selling them because in this day and age a solid well built American toy is a rare find.

Here's a few pix:

I also have a shoe box full of matchbox cars(and a few hotwheels) dating back into the 60's. Some of my Matchbox cars I special ordered from Lesney, England that I couldn't find in the states.(and I did THAT when I was in the fourth grade)

I bet a few of y'all have some old valuable toys kicking around, let's see em'.....

A quick look at Ebay suggests to me a price range of 30 to 50 dollars.

Semi wild guess.

I have a decent collection of real Matchbox cars. I remember quite well going to the basement in the JC Penney in Albany, my mom would look at fabric, and I would stare at the glass case of all the matchboxes. I would choose which one to order for 49 cents, and wait a very long time for it to arrive.

Not sure about the Tonka toys but I sold my Redline Hotwheels this past spring on ebay. My gold mustang made the most at $49.00!
