Default Ocean Side resturants...

Going to ocean side for the weekend here in a couple weeks. Was wondering if anyone had good ideas for a good dinner place to take the wife and me. Not to expensive yet kinda classy to eat at. Any advice helps. Thanks guys.

Pirates Cove outside of Girabaldi can do pretty good.

Roseanna's in Oceanside is the best. Stay away from the Anchor, PLEASE. The Schooner in Netarts for pizza at happy hour. Michcos for a beer.

They have got some pretty good pasta dishes and if I remember a mean Marionberry Crumble of sort. Also we got some really fresh oysters at the place across the street. Several years ago and a few beers but they were goooood.

There you have it!

At Roseanna's I usually have the razor clams. There can be a wait,,,not sure if they take reservations. The pizza at the Schooner is done in wood fired oven. Michkos has nice micro brews. The right side is less smokey.

If you're wondering about the Anchor comment, and the "Boycott the Anchor" signs you'll see, just google:

Oceanside + Anchor + strippers
