Want to rent a 3bd 2bth home for under 900/month
2 friends of mine and I are looking to move out in January. We have been looking for the longest time for a 3bd 2bth home... for under 900. We are planning on having lots of get togethers in our new home and we were hoping if any of you had any ideas. We are starting to get desperate. Please let me know of anything :o). Your rent estimate may be rather low for such a house in a decent neighborhood for 3 young ladies wanting to party often?

Too bad kitchen pass had one that might have worked for you but I think he has it rented. The rent was close.

rp... we found some things for like 950 and under... its just that either they are already taken, or there is just something about it that the other 2 girls don't like. OceanBlue - Me.. I not so picky I could care less where we live. One of the girls is determined to live in Portland like past the 122nd area... and I told her that it gets spendier the farther out you go into portland... but she still insists. We are going to look some more next week. We have some good prospects, but I was just throwing out to see if anyone knew of any places that are actally renting cause most of ours... they would be really nice.. but nothing is availble.  availability is the key.
And to all... Its not parties... cause we aren't party people, but mainly like dinner get togethers, music sessions, game nights, etc. That type of stuff.
If I had a good pic of all three of us... I would gladly post it... but I don't... at least not yet.  LOL thanx a bunch

Lots of houses out there that are not selling.
Maybe shoot an email to a local realtor, explain your situation and see if a seller might be interested in a year lease and wait til the market comes back up. Some obvious issues with that if you plan on staying longer than a year, but

Have you tried that place called "Rental Data", here is their web site:
www.rental-data.com I think it costs like $35 bucks or so to sign up for a month and the aggregate all the rentals in the Portland/Vancouver area so you can search them. I used them twice in the past and it was worth the money for me to use them. I am not sure if it would be worth it to you or not but I was looking for a 2br house for under 800 both times and I found it through them. Now thank goodness I am out of college and can afford a better place but at the time they were a life saver for me so I didn't have to sort through a gazillion listing in papers and online to find what I wanted. Just a thought but maybe they can help you out.

I have a friend that has a place he's trying to find renters for in Molalla. I don't know what he will be asking, but I'll try and get some info if you are interested in living out here.

Move to Eastrn oregon and you could probably get a rental with some acres for that price!
