Gun Control as it should be--pass it on!
NOW THIS IS A STORY WORTH TELLING. THIS STORY EXEMPLIFIES GUN CONTROL AS
IT SHOULD BE.
Shooting in Butte, Montana
Shotgun preteen vs. illegal alien Home Invaders Butte, Montana
November 5, 2006
Two illegal aliens, Ralphel Resindez, 23, and Enrico Garza, 26, probably believed they would easily overpower home-alone 11 year old Patricia Harrington after her father had left their two-story home.
It seems the two crooks never learned two things: they were in Montana and Patricia had been a clay shooting champion since she was nine.
Patricia was in her upstairs room when the two men broke through the front door of the house. She quickly ran to her father's room and grabbed his 12 gauge Mossberg 500 shotgun.
Resindez was the first to get up to the second floor only to be the first to catch a near point blank blast of buckshot from the 11-year-old's knee crouch aim. He suffered fatal wounds to his abdomen and genitals.
When Garza ran to the foot of the stairs, he took a blast to the left shoulder and staggered out into the street where he bled to death before medical help could arrive
It was found out later that Resindez was armed with a stolen 45 caliber handgun he took from another home invasion robbery. That victim, 50-year-old David Burien, was not so lucky. He died from stab wounds to the chest.
Ever wonder why good stuff never makes NBC, CBS, PBS, MSNBC, CNN, or ABC news....
Now that is Gun Control
Thought for the day
Calling an illegal alien an "undocumented immigrant"is like calling a drug dealer an "unlicensed pharmacist"
If this kind of gun control was widespread, crime would stop. We'd run out of criminals, if nothing else.

While this story may be false, the two articles in STGrule link are true.
I also thought it was interesting about the church shootings the other day, an armed woman stopped a heavily armed suspect. While she was a security guard, never the less it boiled down to an armed person being able to intercept the intruder.

There is a true version out of Medford from several years ago. Not involving illegals, but the jist of the story is the same.

The other day Lars Larson gave this scenario:
If you ask every person in society today if there should be armed guards at public places Malls, churches, Schools, Libraries, etc. 80% will say yes.
Ask that same 80% if it should be required for people to arm them selves and they will say no.
In other words, people have been brain washed to think that only law enforcement is capable of defending them when in fact everyone has the ability and the right to defend them selves.

Re: Gun Control as it should be--pass it on!
This is from the link above and is apparently True.
Teen shoots, kills 2 would-be robbers
02:46 PM CST on Thursday, December 28, 2006
From 11 News staff reports
An overnight home invasion robbery attempt in northeast Harris County ended in a hail of gunfire that left two suspects dead.
Investigators said a 17-year-old was home with his cousin when four armed men kicked in the door and started shooting.
The teen pulled out a shotgun of his own and fired back at the suspects, killing two of them.
Two other suspects were later caught.
The 17-year-old asked to not be identified.
“Truthfully, it was either them or me, regardless of who was on the other side of that door or whoever kicked my door down, it was either him or me,” he said. “I’m thankful to be standing here today. I thank god.”
Authorities said at this point they are not planning on filing charges against the teen.

Even if it were true, not exactly a "feel good" story, not to mention what kind of idiot would leave an 11 year old home alone

I respectfully disagree with both those statements. First, some scumbags disregarded society's rules, invaded someone's personal residence, and a competent resident handed them the treatment they deserved. That IS a "feel good" story. If you are hung up on human lives ended, get over it. Once a human leaves the protection afforded by society's rules, they are just another varmint to be shot on sight.
Second, many 11 year olds are perfectly trustworthy, responsible, and apparently competent enough to leave at home by themselves. I was hunting both birds and big game at 10. Dad kept a close eye on me, but would still put me on a stand or in a blind, by myself, while he hunted nearby. I killed my first black bear at 12, by myself. If a kid is trusted with a shotgun or high-powered rifle, they're darn sure competent to sit on a couch and watch tv without supervision.
