Default Picture upload feature and animated graphics.

Hi there!
In the very beginning, I decided to only let pics be on the upload feature for three months. I didn't stick to that. I'm going to have to go through it now, and take out all pics three months and older.
I've been told it's taking too long to load.
Also, please keep animated graphics to an abs minimum to help me save on server space. Animated grahpics take a lot of k.
When you use my pic upload to do animations, it makes ifish slow. If you link to another site, it doesn't slow ifish down as much.
However, some sites don't appreciate this. make sure you have permission.
Thanks,
Jen

All you have to do is right click on Nanooks images and see why his graphics don't slow things down like those uploaded to ifish. It wouldn't be the same around here with out 'Nooks gaphics BUT let's all hope he NEVER posts a picture of himself

On a related note. ******, why are baby emus striped but adults are not? Also, is a group of emus a flock, gaggle, herd or what?

Personally I'd halve your limit to 100k per picture which should be more than plenty. And I offer my services to any iFisher who happens to have a huge picture that they want resized to put on iFish. Heck, I'll even upload it to you. Just drop me an email with the picture and I'll resize and upload it.

Of course I'll accept fishing trips/tackle in a good will gesture for those whom I do this for but in all reality I won't charge ya anything (unless you want to redo your entire online photo album...)

It's simple enough to sign up for a free web page at Homesteadand store your images there. They give you 3 pages and 8 MB of storage. I can offer tech help if necessary.

******, is it true that you rubbed yellow snow into a fur trapper's eyes (using a vigorous circular motion hitherto unknown to this region)??

My great paw paw may have!

Ursus maritimus, or “sea bear,” is the name scientists gave to the “ice bear,” or “Nanook” (from an Eskimo name).

Polar bears have longer necks than do other bears, and their heads appear smaller. The tail and ears are small and furry. Their powerful muscles are especially well developed in the hind legs and neck.

The soles of polar bear feet are covered with fur, offering better traction on ice. The massive forepaws may be twelve inches in diameter, and the toes are partially webbed.

I did not know that about the ******. Actually, polar bears are one of my favorite animals. I have several paintings of them in my house. I was referring to (as phish on noted) the immortal words of Frank Zappa

Sure Rick - the stripes are proof that they aren't mine! ...

I hope somehow we can keep the famous ****** graphics going. He does usually keep them small. I vote for an exemption. My 2 cents worth.
