Dear TUNA! Claus,
I just want you to know that I've been a very good boy this year. I got out on the pond for several tuna trips and even plugged the boat a few times. I managed to indocTUNA!te six newbies this season. I didn't drown anyone and did everything in my power to ensure that everyone returned home safely. Granted, there was some roadside excitement a few times, but NASCAR style pit stops prevailed.
I and the rest of Team Aqua Velvet participated in the Oregon TUNA! Classic, donating funds and fish. I have shared my bounty with many and have committed to a couple charity trips for next year, and am planning on participating in the OTC 2008.
Unless I've done something terribly wrong that is unknown to me, I am sure that I have made it on your nice list. I'm sure that some of my crew may come up with something against me - mis-stringing a rod, failing to untangle handlines between trips, or

Be that as it may, I'm sure that these things aren't enough to slide onto the naughty list.
So, Mr. TUNA! Claus, I'm hoping that you find it in your warm, beating heart (assuming is hasn't been extracted for the sake of a newbie ritual), that you leave the following for me, either under the tree, in my garage or in my boat:
- Two Yozuri Diver Boards
- An Avet reel or two - I'm really not picky
- An assortment of Fred Archer bars
- Yozuri Hydromags
- Rapala X-Rap Magnums
- TUNA! Bites (or other swim baits if Mark Mc is out of stock)
- A couple Calstar live bait rods
- Live bait tank with circulating pump
- EPIRB
- Outriggers
- TC-100 and TC-200 Clones and feathers
- Cedar plugs
- Gas cards
- Gift certificate for four months moorage at Big TUNA! Marine
I really don't need another gaff.

I think that should just about get me by for this next season.
And this year I promise that I'll remember to put the dogs out. Sorry about the split tail issue from last year.
I will also leave a plate of anchovies out for you along with a glass of 61-degree salt water.
Thank you TUNA! Clause. I'll be listening for that rapid "slap slap slap slap" on the roof Christmas eve.
Merry Christmas
Chromaflage
