Nobody has officially stepped up and taken this bad boy on so...I am...

It is on for the Cowlitz for October 6th unless someone can convince me that the NFork of the Lewis will still have quality fish. The Satsop/Chehalis will be corked the entire week before the 6th by treaty and non treaty nets, I don't think its gonna have the fish we would like.

Jim,

I think the vote is in favor of the Satsop, and that's what were shooting for. If drought conditions persist, the Cow is first alternate.

With rain, the nets the week before won't matter. If it doesn't rain, they will put a big damper on the fish, and we can shoot for the Cow.

jim, i heard they are getting kings above the mill on the chehalis, is that true ??? and dont the indians net up to just below friends landing and no further ?

If there will be nets in the Chehalis, up to Friends Landing or below, there will be NO FISH for us to catch. Period!

There will be no chance for fish to get up to the Satsop at all.

I'm thinking it must be the Cow even though it will be a circus of "combat fishing."

But, what the hell do I know, I'm just a Sekiu kinda guy!

The nets come out Wednesday, and if there's water flowing in the Satsop and Chehalis, the fish will be there in hours, not days. First high tide after the nets come out, and the fish will come in.

i hate to miss a weekend of fishing the chehalis, i have fished it for the month of october for years but i guess if i have to go catch a bunch of dink silvers it would be ok.

Exxagerating? I don't think so. I'm game to fish it then and I hope you're right.

Just thinking that there will be fewer fish for the Floatilla due to the recent netting if we go in at that date. I trust Jim's judgement on this one.
