Default Anyone have a Vizio Flatscreen

A tree smashed my house and my Big Screen got munched as well during the big storm down here on the South Coast.

I am shopping for a new flat screen TV. Have been impressed with the Vizio 52" LCD. Looks like Costco has the best price.

Any info or input on flat screens or prices and best places to buy would be appreciated.

Does anyone have the Vizio 52 LCD? What do you like/dislike?

I have several vizio's and wouldn't replace them with anything else. Stick with costco. I don't have the 52" one but really like the 47". They are an american company too.

Sorry to hear about the damage Mike :frown: We just lost a half dozen shingles.

We got a Sanyo (Vizon) 42" at Walmart last spring, no complaints and < $1k. Sony is the best IMHO, you tend to get what you pay for

We have a 37" Visio and it is great. I when we bought ours I had priced them them online and locally and Costco was cheapest. The week after we bought ours Costco dropped the price by $50.00, they refunded us the difference when we asked about it.

Have the 50" and love it. We bought a 42" first, took it home and after 2 weeks decided it was'nt big enough. Took it back to Costco returned it no questions asked and got the bigger one. Do the reserch and you will see Vizio is rated with all the top brands.

Thumbs up Re: Anyone have a Vizio Flatscreen

We bought one at Costco, 32' for the bedroom. Muuch nicer than the tube it replaced. Sonsumer reports did a report on the units and liked them. 3 months old... no complaints

I have had a 52 incher for a couple of months,(VISIO) and love it so far. I replaced a 40 inch one and thought the 52 incher would be too big but now I am wanting a bigger one!

We have had a Vizio 52" plasma for about 2 1/2 years now and love it.
It is only the third TV we have had since we got married in the mid-60s, so we don't have much to compare it to.

the vizio's @ walmart are a different tv than the ones bought at circuit city or costco.

Rusty Hull,

Thanks for pointing that out. I was doing some research on-line and figured there was a difference.

The models at Costco are the flagship best Vizio makes.

There is a difference I'm finding out.
