Default Ilwaco Harbor Hurricane(picture heavy)

OK dogs this is what it looked like in the harbor and outside the boat launch jetty in 90mph winds.I tried to stand holding onto my truck which was shaking more than I was.Check out the size of the waves on the other side of the bar warning light.6-8 ft with white caps. Also can someone tell me why I could only upload five pictures? Had about 10 or 11 I wanted to upload.

The pictures are awesome.

The west end marina in Astoria was also hit hard. Bimini tops were gone and pretty much every boat in the marina was damaged.

The resiliency of the community this past week is inspiring. People helping neighbors in need, businesses staying open without electric power, clerks helping needy through the aisles with flashlights, people with chainsaws clearing roads, and over all positive attitude of the community is amazing!

I totally agree - it's an awsome place to live.

Holy Cow. That is amazing, I can't believe how high the water is.

Does anyone know if there were boats lost, or floats sunk, or any spills, etc?

Supposedly there was a sailboat on it's side and another sailboat with a broken mast. Other than that all seemed to fair the storm pretty well.

Dean, how did you come through this storm in your neck of the woods? Tried to call ya but by that time the phones were down.
