Call down to Lysters and talk to Sherri. Good tides this series. Heard of fish in the Barn hole late last week. IT's time for the main run to start stacking up. All the Berkenfeld chinook have long since moved through and gone up. If I was going to fish this weekend, this would be my choice.

But where are all the silvers?
They should be stacking up about now, or earlier. Strange!

Fishmaster. We fished the Nehalem jaws area real hard last Mon and Tue. A few fish were caught but in general the Nehalem is very slow. Very few fish showing.

Jennie, i dont know where the silvers are at. There was a ton of them in there a few weeks ago. I was wondering if the jelly fish would bother the salmon. Do you know??

I fished the Nehalem from sunup to mid-afternoon today. Lots of silvers splashing at low tide with a small flurry of hooked fish(none in our boat). Through the day I saw maybe 7 fish caught with 1 nice Chinook taken in a guide boat. Action is none to hot but there are many fish showing on the fishfinder. I tried herring for most of the day and a few different spinners trying to entice some action. We nearly had a silver jump in the boat this morning. They are there in numbers but getting them to bite is tough.
