How many of us are members of OHA
I don't know how to set up a poll but I would like to know how many IFISH members are? Maybe we need to start a IFISH drive to get members to sign up? By the way I am.

I belong to OHA, RMEF, NWTF, USSA and will be joining DU even though I dont duck hunt anymore. They do great things for habitat and hunting.......we need to belong to as many as possible.

I am!! Joined in 1991 when I returned to the state after being overseas and other places in the army for 30+ years.
Been a Chapter or State Board member all but two years of the time I have been back in the state.
In Bend tonight waiting to attend the OHA State Board meeting tomarrow. Sat in the Fish and Wildlife Commission meeting all day today well from 8-2PM
By the way State Board meeting are open to the membership!!!

Used to be gave it up though because of difference in opinions. Mainly the wolf intro and donating money to enviromental groups.

I am an OHA member also.
Happily serving on both the local chapter board and state board levels.
I am also a member of SCI, and I have renewals here that I need to send in for DU & RMEF.
I agree with Limbhanger on the good things that the groups can accomplish.

OHA - For local politics
NRA - For National politics and
RMEF - For wildlife conservation
It's like everything else, you will never agree with everything they do, but I do agree with them more than not. If we are going to have public hunting and fishing in the future. I think we need to support at least the local organizations.

Read my signature. When I get my tax returns, join new ones and re-join those about to expire. I have lost count of all that I belong to, but my signature shows most of them.
Awareness is the key and most of the groups have good info on what the anti's are trying to do. One I just joined is NAIA (National Animal Interest Alliance) http://www.naiaonline.org/ They have all animal groups under one roof and they support hunting.
