Any one ever tried vacumed packed procure salmon eggs before on salmon or steelhead?

I just got a pack never tried them. Wonder if they will do as good as homemade cured eggs or better. Anyone try these eggs before for salmon or steelhead?

Oh yes! I like mine served lightly with a little butter and plenty of garlic.
Grill the salmon with lots of spices and a sugar glaze, then top the salmon or steelhead with your procure salmon eggs drizzled with the butter sauce!

If they were in a jar I think they should be great, but if they were packed in a bag.... Hope you like them scrambled...

Are these store bought?

I think pro-cure makes a great cure but those vacuum seal packs they sell are the worst eggs i've ever seen in my life. Having said that i'm sure you'll slay some fish with them now. If you paid what I think you paid, you would be way better off picking some eggs up from Amerman. I just bought some of his cure and can't wait to try it... Joe

I bought them from store near by my house. They look real fresh and they where sealed really well the eggs have real good color to them a nice red natural color. I made sure the seal was not broken when I purchased them. So hopefully they will do just as good. I bought them because I was kind of in a pinch no bait and couldnt get to the any of my usual fishing stores. Said cant hurt to try them out. havent tried them yet going to try them this weekend.

Yep...use them alot, you have a choice between natural and red hott coloring...seem to work pretty good on steelhead too.just keep them refriged after you open them and theyll last along time..
