I was wondering how many fish were still hanging out in the South these days? I had heard rumors of the steelhead & salmon being in the river all the way into fall, but I would like some responses from people that know for sure. Thanks

I fished the deadline early this morning, no fish for 7 poles.

The fish are there. Just wait until they start releasing some water from Foster.
They started to recycle steelhead last week. They took them down to Waterloo.
I have done well on summer steelhead clear into October. If you decide to head up that way, Use eggs or small corkies hat are similar in color to real salmon eggs. The steelhead key in on eggs as the springers begin to spawn.
