Default Waiting to go home

I left for a business trip on Monday afternoon to Arkansas. I was due to come home Wednesday and I'm still here. I just wanted to thank all you folks on the board for all the information and entertainment the posts and comments give. When you have nothing else to do but be patient they're way better than television. I've read them all. As for the fishing down here. Bass and Bream are hitting in the local lakes, Bass on softbaits, Bream (whatever they are) prefer crickets. Catfishing is slow but a few big ones have been caught near the dam on liver flavored stinkbait. Slab Crappies up to a pound apiece are being taken in Caddo Lake. Thank god for the Northwest, I tend to take for granted what we truly have. If I had to dodge water moccasins to catch 1 pound slabs I'd take up some other addiction. Thanks everybody, keep up the info

Salmonlips,
I hear ya. I caught a plane to Phoenix Arizona on Sunday. Had a bunch of business meetings to attend. My wife came with me so she could visit a friend there. Luckily we rented a car for her on Sunday otherwise we would still be sitting in 105 degree Phoenix.
Left Phoenix Wednesday morning at 6:00 AM and got home to Lake Oswego at 2:00 A.M. on Thursday.
Good luck and I hope you can get home soon.

Bream - oversized sunfish, just like bluegill

And you'll dodge more than a water mocassin if you like fishing..doesn't matter if it's for a bass or not. I guess I'm the only person who likes to fish, no matter the species.

Hurry home safely, our prayers are with you, your family, and friends. Now for badmouthing fish in other states, you'll go skunk here when you return it's fishing karma I think.
