Default GPS Numbers for the deep Garibaldi Halibut Spot

Ifishers-
I know it's been asked before, and I have a snowball's chance in hell of getting an answer, but I have to ask.

Does anyone have numbers for the deepwater Halibut spot off Garibaldi? I know if I launch out of Tillamook, I can follow the parade of boats on a 240ish heading for 22 or so miles, but I may be going on a boat moored in Nehalem, and if that's the case, I would like GPS Numbers.

C'mon guys, I know asking for bottomfishing spots is like asking for your firstborn, but this spot is no secret, with 100+ boats on it every open day of the season, so if you have the numbers, please help me out!

What's the big hurry? The halibut seasons are harder to get than clean underwear for myself! I know it sounds kind of paranoid but I think alot of guys don't like to give up the #'s because of people going out and poaching due to being out so far with no one looking.

Threemuch, check your e-mail!

Fishing is tuff, but I have to provide food for my family.

Gregotis98-
The hurry is the two days of fishing next week, Friday and Saturday! We have been blessed with many deep water days this year.

In terms of poaching, this spot is no big secret, with 100+ boats sitting on it any open day. I wouldn't bet on no one looking. The commercial guys can fish it all summer until their quota is full, and I would bet they would love to drop the dime on a rod and reel poacher.

Is there really an opener next weekend? If so please let me know where I can find the info. The poaching thing was about when there is no open season. It would be very easy to run out there and drop a line real quick and leave with no one seeing a thing.

Yes, there is an opener next week. You can find the info on the main IFish page on a link Jen has to Marine Resources. It's on the right hand side down aways. You will have to look around once in that site but recreational halibut is the page that has the map and notice. Good luck!
