anyone need bait. This is a bummer!
All this time I was worried about my boat and place. not until just now did it occur to me that the bait (good stuff) and all my stuff in the fridge and freezer will be toast. I had some killer stuff in there. I may have all kinds of bait to offload. Maybe I'll be lucky. Bringing lots of coolers and ice with me, to transport stuff home. Wish me luck!

Sorry to hear that Brad. Same story with a lot of folks down at the coast. Best of luck to all involved.

I have a ton of shad, salmon and tuna belly, herring, and carcasses. lots of crab bait. I suppose I can re-freeze alot of that. The herring won't be much good though. Whatever I can't use you dogs are welcome to before I toss it.

crab bait will just get better! Fish bait and food, bummer. Stuff will stay pretty frozen in a closed freezer ... for a while

I know the reports are 3-5 days w/o elec for tillamook, but we have gone 2 days without opening the freezer before. When I was young we were witout elec for 5 days, but I think every other day dad would plug the freezer into the generator. crab bait shouldnt matter as said

Re: anyone need bait. This is a bummer!
I got to my place today, freezer in the house held up well, minimal loss. Fridge another story. Oh well. Bait was mostly salvaged. lost some good herring.
Horrible smell in my garage. Not the bait freezer! Crabbed a month ago. I found 3 crabs the kids missed under the boat seats. Plus a piece of bait full of maggots. After the stomach flu sunday, I thought I was gonna loose it again.
