I copied these from a site over 2 years ago (I think it was iFish) and was wondering if anyone knew who took it and what the story was.

Man... you guys are making me doubt where I got it from..But for the life of me I can not think of another site that I visited back then that would have blacktail pics..

Is it from blacktailcountry? They've got a lot of big blacktails posted on that site. Lots of them are sierra blacktails from Cali.

I doubt it.. I never cared much for that site or Cali blacktails. They look funny/like crosses to me. But thanks for the idea. I will go set up an account and try there.

I too think it was from Blacktail Country and his moniker name was Dave D............or something like that.

Yep, I just went to the Blacktail Country site and looked in the memberlist and found Dave D. He has that photo in his photo gallery. Dave D. has a company called blacktail speacialists..............hope this helps. Wheels.

I believe that Wildebeast's (from Ifish) brother-in-law took the picture. I think you may have got a copy of it off of Hagshouse or another trailcam site....i'm almost certain that Dave D didn't take that photo.

The pictures of that Blacktail buck were taken by a friend of mine in the Olympic forest with a hand held camera 4 years ago. He didn't tell me the exact location for some reason LOL but as far as I know it is still alive. I'm sure if he ever got it I would know.
I think I posted it on Jesses hunting page or Hags site. The pictures shown were scanned from regular 4x6 photos and I reduced the quality to show on the internet. He took 3 photos and I see all have been shown.

Yes, Probably Jesses site..I completely forgot about that site. I used to visit it all the time and it is probably where I got the pics.
The reason I was looking for info is a kid posted the pic and claimed he took it this fall on a trail cam. I told him I had the same pic and some drama ensued... in the end we found out that his buddies(?) pulled a prank and switched his memory card.
