Hatchery Tag. Can't find any.

Well as I try still to get over the shock of yesterdayand try to get on with normal life I do have a question. Anybody know of anyplace that has any hatchery tags? I have been to every place around hillsboro and sherwood with no luck. Anybody know where any are?

you might try and ODFW office, other than that they have been hard to come by. I bought a couple at the eastport G.I. Joes the other day but they didnt have many left. My partner just started calling around and finally located those. Good luck.

Because the Hatchery tag program is not incorporated into the computer licensing deal, stores were required to buy the licenses ahead of time. Many chose not to. Those that did mostly bought too few. The ODFW office in Portland and Clackamas can help you out. Check the phone book for addresses.

FF, I contacted the ODFW in Ptld, you can get them there. They also said you can get them at Willey's in Hammond and Links sporting goods in Astoria if you are in that area !

Your local retail outlet can get them if they wanna go to the trouble. While at the ODFW office last week getting mine, they told me they are available in packets of "10" to any retailer. That's what burns me about Fisherman's Marine Supply. There they are in Oregon City, about 5 minutes from the ODFW office in Clackamas, and they're out...have been for about three weeks that I know of. You'd think the manager would get off his butt and go get some to make his customers happy, but instead, they got a sign up saying "We're out...G I Joes has some!!" (NOT..they're out too.) Just one of the MANY reasons I hate doing business with FMS. [img]images/icons/mad.gif[/img]

Thanks to all that replied. I didn't know there were odfw offices so close. DUH!! Any FM2 yes I did get that fish cut up or hacked up might be a better term. **** I need a better filet knife.. Thanks again to all who replied.. [img]images/icons/grin.gif[/img]
