Default She said Yes!

Well with all the bad news thats is in the news right now I thought I would let all of you know my great news. For me at least I asked my Sweet Beautiful girlfriend to Marry me last Fri. night and she said yes. We are both extremly happy and will tie the knot sometime next year, I told her my criteria is as long a it isnt during peak fishing time or hunting season and she is good with that. She did shoot down my buddies idea of having the wedding while rowing the driftboat down a river Hey you cant have it all.

Brothers and Sisters you will not be forgotten

Schedule the wedding around the fishing and hunting seasons? Did you find the ideal wife for a sportsman or what?

Congratulations!

Well Fivedog,

I fished the morning before the wedding, see if she will let you get away with that one. Our wedding was at 7 so we fished till noon. I have taken three other buddies fishing the morning before they got married and started a tradition.

We also fished twice on the honey moon and i fished guided up to two days before the big day and I fished the day after we got back from the honey moon.

YeeeeeHaaaaaa!
Congrats Firedog. I remember when I was on the Deschuttes one weekend about 12 years ago, I told my buddy that I was going to get married. He told me "marriage is a good thing, I did it three times" . 13 years and two kids later I don't regret a thing.
Best wishes to you.

Just like Jim Belushi said in the movie About Last Night, "them firemen...they get all the chicks". Congrats Marty. You know you are gonna have to sell that boat. You can't have any fun toys when you first get married. After about 8 years you get them back, because the wife is tired of a couch that burps, and will do anything to get you outta the house. I could use a 17 footer hauling RT around. Since he went in my boat the water line is up about 8 inches. Once again congatulations to both of you.

Troy, don't you know it that the firemen get all the chicks. So we when we find the best one we keep them and quit searching. I will have to get you and RT out in that 17' the two of you can give me some rowing tips. Or from what I hear RT is pretty good on the sticks and you and I can fish ; Should be able to keep the boat, gotta have something to do on the weekdays that I am off.

Everyone else thank you much for the well wishes. Dave I could probably pull that of also, we will see
