Yes, its true, and here is the proof...I was able to get my butt out of bed on time, went to Nehalem with a friend, and came home with this...now I REALLY have the itch, and may go back out weekend after next...

Dont get me wrong, that was a LOT of fun...but as good as sex??? If you think that, maybe you just arent doing it right!! Either that, or maybe having a fiance that can touch her tongue to the tip of her nose just has me spoiled.

"sometimes it's damm near as good as".. Is what I said. And I'm not talking about landing fish like you are holding, although very nice fish, I am talking about a hard charging, arm damaging, drag washer burning 40+ pound chrome fall chinook or a 30+ pound springer, and doing it in a med sized river with all sorts of obsticles. Just wait, you'll see if you're lucky. Also, when you get as much as I do, it makes a differance.....

Awwww, Tex ... wait 'til you've been married a couple decades ... or, um ... wait until you catch a big salmon.

Nice fish though.

Way to go Jeff! Last weekend at Ifish 2001 was my first time in the Tillamook/Nahalem area. I had no idea how beautiful the area is, or how many rivers empty into that bay area. I can't wait to return. Isn't it great down there? Salmon, Oysters, Crab, a real seafood paradise. Fun to catch, fun to eat!

Cool Texan and I also had a double hook-up on the Nehalem, First time I have seen that in the Wheeler area. Be sure to ask Cool Texan about his fish killing skills, I hope they don't kill fish like that in Texas.

Good fish, Cool. Is your other fish in the cooler next to you? Or did you just get one? Hey even if that's all you got, consider yourself lucky, I haven't got any in months!

Ya know, now that I've seen a picture of ya, to me you don't look like a typical Texan at all. Keep it live, dude.
