Welcome G.I. JOE\'S!
Thanks to G.I. JOE'S, for giving ifish.net a helping hand.
They have decided to help support the cause!
I am very grateful for their participation.
Please welcome them, and know that they are helping the ifish community!

Re: Welcome G.I. JOE\'S!
Sorry, but it will take more than the sponsorship of a fishing website for GI Joe's to get off of my poo-poo list.
Nice to hear that you received some sponsorship, but they've burned me in the past and I don't automatically welcome them back with open arms or pocket books.

Lucid Silenity,
If you like this website, don't badmouth the folks that are supporting it financially, eh?

Re: Welcome G.I. JOE\'S!
They have placed their sponsorship well with this great site. I will certainly support them.
I will be purchasing my hunting equipment for this season with them.

Re: Welcome G.I. JOE\'S!
Well, seeing how they are now sponsering this site, I will go back to shopping at their stroes. I have not bothered to go into their stores for over 8 months.

Re: Welcome G.I. JOE\'S!
GI Joes has found a mix of business that keeps them in business. They are not, the end all, be all, fishing tackle store. They also carry clothes, shoes, sporting goods, auto parts etc etc.....
I for one will support the stores that support ifish.

Re: Welcome G.I. JOE\'S!
If I had bought stock with every dollar i've spent at GI Joes I would be 1/2 owner right now. My only complaint is that they really need to overstock on high demand items. Other than that I think they have a great variety... Joe

A special thanks and welcome to Joes. One of my favorite places on earth !! I'll stop there before I "seize" fall chinook off of T-Bay this weekend .

Re: Welcome G.I. JOE\'S!
I have no problem with "Guy" Joe's -- maybe they don't have a lot of personality, but between fishing gear and boat stuff and car parts and shoes and concert tickets -- I sure as heck spend a lot of $$$$$$$ there!
Thanks Joe (and Amerman Eggs) for not using big animated banner ads! Some of us still have that stone-age dial-up internet thang goin' on ...

Hey Silent, no big deal...nobody's asking you to forget anything. We all (myself included) just need to use a little descretion on what we decide to post and what we decide to keep to ourselves

Re: Welcome G.I. JOE\'S!
I think this would be a great opportunity for someone at GI Joes to speak up an ask us what problems we have had with their stores, and what they plan on doing to fix them. I for one cannot believe that 3 stores would be out of herring, but I can go somewhere else and their freezer(s) are stocked with bait.

Guess you can use a bear graphic Mission2, as long as it's NOT a polar bear graphic.

Re: Welcome G.I. JOE\'S!
By joining NW Steelheaders you will recieve a 10% discount on fishing tackle bought at Joes. The $25 yearly membership fee is quickly made up if you shop at GI Joes.

Re: Welcome G.I. JOE\'S!
Ok I'll welcome them too. Since the new store in Sherwood has opened I find myself going there a little more. It's 25 minutes away and most of the time I go right by it so its convienent. I guess guys like cagey just cant make it that far anymore. I will say they still **** me off when they don't stock enough items but then that seems to be the way of the retail world these days. Maybe someone in thier corporate office will use this advice and put it to good use.
Welcome aboard!

Re: Welcome G.I. JOE\'S!
Good post BIGSTEW, I forgot about my Steelheaders discount when I was in 'Joes today. Thanks for reminding me (and other ANWS members).
I've shopped the Delta Park store for more than a decade and they've done well by me for all sorts of automotive and sports purchases so I definitely welcome them as a sponsor.
With more sponsorship by honorable businesses I sure hope this board will dump the advertising for greedhead Hempstreet's Shilo Inn.

Re: Welcome G.I. JOE\'S!
I, too, welcome GI-Joes....I generally go there to test something out before I order it from somewhere much cheaper
I also second the motion about dumping the Shilo...Mr. Hemp street has gone too far on the last debacle with the Eagle Cap wilderness area.
