Default Planked Salmon recipe's

My wife can prepare salmon as well as any cook/chef I know and we have over 120# in the freezer at the moment.

We eat fish as much as anyone we know,but----
We don't have any good recipe's for planked salmon and I'm sure some of you must have. I've seen some of the recipe's posted here and the ones Jen has from the collection of Ifish members she posted a few weeks ago, but no planked salmon.

Are you willing to give it up????

Air dry
Sprinkle with Italian season
Toss a few thin sliced almonds
Sprinkle with brown sugar
Melt butter and maple syrup
Baste
Bbq
Turn up heat at the end to get the plank smoking
Cook only until it starts to flake
Place feast on table
*Note be sure there are no hot cinders on the bottom of the plank

The only planked fish recipe that I know involves a fillet of bass. It requires a fillet of bass,a cedar shingle and a bottle of Takillya. Stand shingle next to fire and attach fillet of bass to shingle somehow. Baste liberally with Takillya. After about 2 hrs throw out the fillet and eat the shingle. Wash down with the remainder of Takillya. MMM good.

Hooch and anyone else for that matter....all salmon recipes start at my house and go from there.
