Default how to store amerman eggs

At the ifish party I bought 2# of eggs.
I want to use some now and try to keep
rest as fresh as possable. Any Ideas on
how to keep them if I only use a little at a time.

Keep them cool when out of your frigde and keep them refrigerated when not in use. They will last all season if treated in this manner. Repeated thawings and freezings do not make for pretty Amerman eggs. The fish seem to bite them after several freezings but they don't look as good.

By the way, how do you use so few eggs? I use 2 pounds of eggs everytime I go out.

I used the eggs tonight on the Clackams. I really like the way they look (no fish).
When I fish, ether in the boat or on the
bank, I often switch fron rod to rod trying
deffernt things. So I may only use eggs on one pole and then try another pole with something else.

I am glad you were able to get some eggs. Thanks Jennie for making sure Amerman eggs and cure were at Ifishstock, Sorry I could not be. Plan the date early for next time and I will make sure I can make it. As for storing eggs. I would break the eggs down to the size packets you will use. I would try and figure how much you will use in the next month and leave them in the refridge they will be fine and should look no different. The rest I would freeze in a air tight container. If the air does not get to the eggs they can be frozen for years. As Grant said avoid thawing and refreezing them many times. You can do it once or twice but the more you do it the worse they will look. Sounds like Grant can tell you how they look after ten times.
