I launched out of Ft. Canby yesterday at about 8:00 AM. Fished all around the area you describe. The only action we saw was about 1 hour into the flood tide about halfway between chinook and the Ilwaco entrance. There was a good bite that lasted about an hour then went completely dead. I think that it is somewhat the "luck of the draw" that determines what day is good and where the action is. We were fishing 16 - 28 pulls with most takedowns at 16 pulls. Hope it's good for you out there.

We fished Friday. Started above the bridge with a couple of hookups and then trolled down to Ilwaco entrance without much success. Trolled back up to the bridge about 2 hrs into the incoming tide without much success. At this time we had 7 in the boat. We hit the bridge and boated 13 keepers in about 2 hrs. I then fished again Sat. We started at the bridge. We weren't in the water 5 min. and I hooked up a 17lb silver. A couple more and the bite died. Went above the bridge and made a few trolls downriver and all we could catch were nookies. BIG nookies. Left the area and trolled down to Chinook/Ilwaco. Hit a rip down there and put 12 in the boat in about 2 hrs. Look for the cluster of boats. Well maybe not a cluster as there aren't as many boats as usual

Things went dead on Sunday. We fished out of Hammond. Fished all over B10 up to Hammond, the middle and over to Chinook. Didn't see many and we only got Two for all that running around. Did have a good time and the two we did get were nice 10 & 15 Lbs.
