Default Remington Info

My father has given me a Remington autoloader 878 and cant find any info on this shotgun. It has beautiful etchings around the action and shoots like a dream. He said that he thought he bought it in the 50's. How long was it in production, when did it stop, is it worth anything. I'm just curious, because I cant seem to find anything on it .

Thank you!!

Default Re: Remington Info

blue book lists a 100% gun at $265 so value is as a shooter. barrels are interchangable with model 58
