Default where did you fish sat

Where did all you ifish party goers fish this last Sat. Everyone is telling how much fun they had but keeping mum about the fishing. Sounds like everyone had a excellet time. I was feeling sorry for myself because i could not make it and now iam really sad. Only salvation for me is iam headed to the Nehalem Bay in the morning. Did anyone fish there Sat? I will plan on being there next year. I might even donate something, what do ya think Jen? Sailcat sang???? wow and i missed it.

We had a great day on the water. Fished Tillamook Bay. Tried to get to the south jetty; got over the bar but the swells were way to BIG for me so turned around and fished inside. Saw quite a few silvers caught but we were trying for Nooks and never had a bump and only saw one caught. But did only pull our crab pots twice and caught thirty crab so that was worth the effort. Talk to some guys who fished Nehalem that afternoon and they too said it was slow. Good luck and don't forget to post your report when you get back from Nehalem.

T-Bay, 2 limits of nice crab. Several strikes by Coho that were long line released near the S. Jetty. And the initiation of a promising future blue water boater.

TBay, a limit and a half of crabs (enough to fill the cooler, they were big), 4 take downs; a coho and a king lost just short of the net and a nice silver in the box. I credit our success to Marie's Fresh Herring from Tillamook Bait Company ... man are they nice! and water flat enough to let me seek out the seams and pockets. Crabbing, well I could have been smarter in trap placement ... the experiments worked and the "old faithful" spots didn't.
