Im in China!!!

It's been a while since I have been on here so I figured I would fill everyone in. My wife (Flying Chipmunk) and I moved to Shanghai China earlier this month. It is only a temporary move, we will be here for about two years. I am going to rely on you guys to post pics so I can see what I am missing!!! I will be on here farely often. Anybody got any pointers about living in Shanghai? Mahalo, Balou.

BalouSC, I have to agree with Ryan as I understand it he is no threat to the fish population.

Get in Touch with Gus Orviston. He's in Shanghai I believe. Nice person, can't fish a lick. But he does speak english..............I think.

Hey Balou, We missed you and your wifes smiling faces at the Mollala chapter meeting last Thursday. We had a special guest, C. Nelson who filled us in on fishing in the great lakes, which happens to be where all the action is. They can fish 24/7, 365 days a year for salmon and trout. How the action over there? Do you get to play, or is all work? I'll keep a boat seat warm for you for when you get back.:smile: Bob

I have been sick since the day I got here. When I go to work, it takes 1.5 hours to get there and includes 2 bus rides with a ferry ride stuck in the middle. I am starting to feel better now. Word for the wise, you might as well just quit eating over here! Oh well!! I will post some pics soon! Mahalo!

We'd be glad to have you anytime Mitch!!! I got to tell you, you would be in heaven over here. Only thing worth drinking is Heineken!!!!

Outside of that, you wouldn't have much fun. Even if there was fish in this river, you wouldn't want to touch it. Being here in all of this polution makes you really appreciate what we take for granted at home. Pics coming soon! David

Hopefully they will have a LOT of toilets setup for the Olypmics over there!!....should be a lot of records broken.....50 yard dashes and what have you.

Word to the wise, eat very spicey food it will kill the stomach bacteria (learned that in Mexico)
