Default Autoloader manufacturer????

I came across a Sears Roebuck autoloader model 66. Says 2 3/4" on the barrel. Ventilated rib with a manufactures installed twist polychoke. I'm guessing 50's or 60's. Anybody have any idea who made guns for Sears in that era and stamped Sears Roebuck & Co. on the barrel? I'm sure they never made them themselves but who did it for them. Someone has some kind of manual that has that kind of info in it. Could it have been one of the major USA manufacturers or do you think foreign? Its a nice looking autoloader.

Probably high standard. It is comparable to their supermatic deluxe. According to the 26th edition of the gun traders guide, new in box: $369 and excellent condition: $295, good condition $201. Made in 1966-1975.

You might check to see if JC Higgins was the manufacturer. My dad has a single shot 20 from that era (late 50's) that was stamped Sears, but manufactured by JC Higgins.
