Whats protocol?
When you respond to a private message do you respond at the top of the message so the one that receives it sees your response immediately or do you respond at the bottom like you were reading a book?
I typically go top unless I'm responding to a response that was at the bottom?
Probably not most intellectual post but just wondering?

Re: Whats protocol?
For some reason I always respond on the bottom. But that is here. When you email and respond it always puts your text on the top.

Re: Whats protocol?
I respond at the top and prefer it that way. But, others do it at the bottom and I always find it, eventually. 'Funny to me the "program" doesn't automatically step down a couple of lines at the top as with most e-mail program's I've been familiar with. Good question! Don

Top - always. Just so it can be seen quickly - just like email replies.

Re: Whats protocol?
Personally, If I'm responding to a PM I like to put half of the message on top..
then the other half on the bottom.
You know, mix things up a little bit...

Re: Whats protocol?
If I am responding in a thread and am quoting a previous post I like to post at the bottom. I feel it is less confusing if people know what you are responding to.
If I am responding to a PM or email, I like to post at the top. I figure the guy I am writing already knows what he posted.

If bowling is considered a sport, why can't PMing be as well?
