For information on the Kalama, as well as all your tackle and beer consumption needs, I suggest calling The Kalama Bait & Tackle.

360-673-7466 or the last four is 7966 Tell 'em the redneck sent ya.

Information on the Cowlitz, I'd call Don or Karen Glaser down at the Barrier Dam Campground:
360-985-2495

Since you were very general with your questions, any other info needed will have to be more specific. Those 2 numbers, above, are money.

Hope this helps.

If you need anymore info, just use the email address at the end of my signature. Kalama had some shoot through last week, but there's fish throughout, not many...yet

The Cowlitz, on the upper end towards the Barrier Dam, hasn't had the silvers show yet, except for maybe a handful, but no one is fishing for salmon yet. Kings and unclipped steelies are not to be retained. Check the regs for more information about rules. You can download WA sportfishing rules from WDFW's website.

When you make it up this way, let a brotha know.

You need to be on the NF Lewis. If you like to drift eggs, do it here. Lots of fish.
