Wow...took a few hours after work to see what's going on out on the Columbia. What a great day.....very few boats..and "Zippo" pleasure craft...smoooth ride until the tide change. Results...this 25 pound hen....complete with sea lice!!!

Yes Mark, persistance ... I've been hammering the same slot so long that when I tussled with this brute yesterday a half dozen guys yelled, "Way to go, Pete!" Kind of a nice feeling to have these little communities on the river.

I think I got your fish's sister ... but you need to work on your reach!

Oh C'mon Pete...you're not supposed to hold the fish at arms length in front of the camera. Some of us know that trick...O.K.???

Oh now...Come on...It was way too nice out there...None of the usual "obstacles"..and only about 8 boats in our complete field of vision. No offense...But I will say it's below the I-5 bridge. I'll tell you what I'm doing....but not where. If you see me out there...then I guess I'm "Busted".... Good news tho is that the water is cooling. Look for lots of action in the next week or two.
