Hi Billy,

I received it, thanks!

One of my concerns is the bra for the front of the boat while in transit. A removable anchor system that won't interfere with the bra is something I would like to make. The bra was pretty expensive and I would like to leave it as is.

Thanks,

Don't know which system he showed you, but on both my front and rear anchor arms, I use long bolts with wing nuts. I need to take them off to get the boat in the garage sideways.

I have not had any problems and have been doing it this way for years....

I agree with Gizmoman... wing nuts and lock washers would do the trick!

I have a unit made by Dierks, Lange Productions, that is the standard in anchor system for drift boats. You can look at one at Fisherman's Marine. I would expect that in the long run... it will be cheaper to buy one than make one.

Another vote for wing nuts and lock washers here. That's how I put my stern anchor setup on the boat. I can just unbolt it to put the motor on when I'm going to be using it.
