Big Youth Mule Deer (PICS)
Met my buddy's early saturday morning in Lakeview after driving all friday night. We hunted hard all saturday and only saw one small 3 pt. that i passed on just didnt quite have what i was looking for.
Got up early sunday morning to get to our hunting spot which was an hour drive from the hotel we were staying at. We got up there at first light and walked out a couple ridges but didnt see anything. On the way back to the truck we jumped a big 4 pt. but it spooked to fast for me to get a shot.
We took a nap in the early afternoon and went back up to the spot where we saw the 4 pt. we walked out another ridge and when i looked down to my right i saw a big buck. I got up on it and my hunting buddy said it was a shooter. One shot from 185 yards and it was dead.
