Default Listen to weather forecast please

I was loading my boat this evening for a weekend on the ocean, and thought I might listen to the forecast on the vhf while getting things in order. About half way through, the funny sounding voice said 6-8 ft Sat., 10-12 ft. Sun. and Mon., so I just turned around and started to unpack. If this is true I would expect the Coast Gaurd to be very busy this weekend, and I hope everyone that goes tuna fishing makes it back safe. I'm usually willing to do some dumb things for time on the ocean, but with all the good days out there in the last month or two I'd hate to ruin it just because it's a three day weekend

Default Re: Listen to weather forecast please

When speaking with the Coast Guard yesterday he said he had pulled more people from the water this year then ever.
Please, be careful out there!
