Re: One of the reasons I fish
the reason i fish is because it keeps me humble, somewhat. while most straightforward things are simple to me, fishing is not (or, possibly, i haven't learned the proper rules yet). more or less, it's the same reason i like golf: you can know all of the physics behind it and still shank 'em off into the trees consistently.
hope the smoking goes well. i bought a smoker earlier this year and have only made jerky with it so far. hopefully, the coho will prove more willing than the others have so far.
congrats on the digicam. once i get ftp working on my win2k system, i'll post some software for you to use with it and email the link. out of curiosity, what did you get? i've been considering upgrading and have decided what i will get when i do, but can't justify the cost just yet. till then, i'm still working with my kodak dc50.

Re: One of the reasons I fish
I go cause it's out of rollin' pin range
Naw, just kidding honey
I love everything about getting out there. The whole gammet from the traditional breakfast burritos to the exitement of a take down. Seeing folks catch their first fish, the smiles, the teamwork and just plain being out there. Rain or shine fishing is fine.
Pretty hooked on the whole Big Blue thing. Thank yo very much Brother Pilar...
Ya never know what yer gonna drag up when yer mooching or bottom fishing. And ya see Porpises (sp) Dolphins, Albatros, whales.... Pluck the crab pots on the way to the dock. Man does it get any better than cooking crab while yer filetting fish? Maybe if yer buddy is doin the filleting . Nothing beats fresh cooked crab with a lil fish slime and stories round the grill.
I'm gonna need a fix pretty soon.
Let me know when the bite turns on at Longview till then I'll work on a pass to Tuna town .
Mr. F. out and monitoring....

Re: One of the reasons I fish
Well it took me a few tries to get it right and understand the instructions, but I did it. Unfortunately, the smoker rack is a little emptier than the first picture I took.

Re: One of the reasons I fish
Ampersant,
I ended up buying the Canon S110. It is 2.1 mega pixels. could not reason spending more for higher pixel count. @.5X optical zoom and 5x digital. amera is about the size of a pack of cigaretts,(which by the way I have been free of for 17 days now, talk about way cool, I am sooo happy) it also takes moview with sound. I got a SanDisk card reader and it makes the memmory cards appear just like another drive on the computer. Man, I love it.....
FM2, nice try, but I not biting..at least not anything but another piece. Actually I just ran all three smokers today. Notice the "bran new" drip pan in the picture...
