Default Three Generation Thrusday

I can't believe what an awesome day this was!! I have been trying forever to get my seventeen year old son to go fishing with me(his idea of water sports is wakeboarding). He finally decided to bless me with his presence today along with my father and another friend. This was the first time we had three generations in the boat.

Put in at Hammond early; heading for buoy 10 but never made it. Stopped around 14 and couldn't keep four lines in the water. The fish were flying (in the boat that is!) Had fish on the floor of the boat cause didn't even have the time to get them in the cooler. It never really slowed down and as fast as it started we were done! Sixteen fish in an hour and a half!! Not to mention the many natives and one nice nook my son caught! No wind, perfect weather, I don't think it gets any better than that! If you were there you know what I mean.

Best of all was my son now has salmon fever and wants to know when we're going for the big nooks in Tillamook.

I don't know about you, but I would take this every Thursday. I have a 5 year old son who is already bailing on me for fishing..

I think that Buoy 10 might change his mind...
