Now thats what I am talking about, thans Jon! I heard you and your dad got some bulls, and he reached out with the lead and touched the one with his rifle!! Good shooting once again.

...... and is that a bear skin on a log, or was your GF using really big arrows, and not get a clean pass through??

Well, looks like you have a good GF, seeing that she scored on a bear and a elk! Now get her on the bench and see what she can reach out to, they say women are more patient than men........ just what I heard, didn't really hear the rest of the story! I seen some nice bulls on the upper parts of Cunningham/Anderson......... just wondering if you knew a quick way to repair a fence!!??J/K

Nice bear. Yeah at 6'1" I'd agree...350lb range.
Hope ya saved the fat. Makes awesome pie crusts. You get in real good with the local pastry chefs w/ good clear bear fat.

mt300, lets see those Colorado pics!!

Traks, 910yd?? WOW, simply amazing. Slap'em on the back for me. You guys are way out of my league! 500 is my limit.

ok, I couldnt hold out anymore, here is dads bull, the shot was 910 yards, 10 mph cross wind, Dropped like a sack of potatoes. Load is 94gr. of H1000 behind a 250 gr. sierra match king with lapua brass of course. I cant stop talking about the shot. Watching through my 8x30 steiners I could barely tell it was a bull and to watch it fold up like lightning struck it was....well.....I wouldnt have believed it if I hadnt of seen it for myself. Truely the most awesome display of shooting I have ever seen. He has worked worked so hard at this and with bulls taken at 780 and now 910 and I got to be there with him, the ultimate hunt, and on the last day. The most memorable hunt I have ever been on.

good shooting dad!

Actually no, as you can see the buck brush is about 5 feet tall and the canyon he was in was covered with it. We tryed him earlier in the season but it got warm so fast they all go to bed. We did exactly what we have practiced and that bull would not have been touchable otherwise.

traks44, some of us understand how much effort your father and you put into your guns and making sure you and your guns are capable of the shot, as to the rest of you well um have a nice day.

Please tell your father congrats on the wonderful bull

Well I shot my elk at 18yds with a lowly 45/70. And I was hunting in the brush. And he dropped like a sack of spuds.

Maybe if I practice real hard I'll take a 50yd shot next time - you know the brush and all
