Default Breathable Waders

Will be buying my first pair in the next week. Any suugestions or considerations. I would rather not order them through Cabela's or Bass Pro. Due to the way I am built I need to be able to try them on first. I will not be going boot foot. I will wear them with seperate wading boots.

Thanks in advance.

If you've got the cash, SIMMS Guideweight stockingfoot's, in my opinion, are the best thing going. I've had mine for almost 3 years, and have put them through some heavy use. They have performed flawlessly! $375 is what you should expect to pay though, and that doesn't include gravel guards. (What's up with that, SIMMS )

Tanner, Are you getting neoprene or gortex waders? I have a pair of Ronny gore-tex waders - with neoprene feet for use with wading boots. They are nice for summer fishing, but probably too cold for winter - plus I walked through a black berry bush and have never been able to track down all the tears. I think my next pair will be neoprene! My 2.

Got an cheap pair (Tide Waters)two years ago at GI Joes and LOVE them. Easy to patch (cuddled ~40 over-sized sturgeon since). Has neoprene feet and got neoprene booties to go with them (easy on the feet in the boat and in the water). Not a problem in the cold weather, just use fleece pants. I work in them in the winter and MUCH prefer them to neoprenes.
