Default What are these worth?

I stopped fly tying about 20 years ago. I have sold or given away most of my equipment/material. I save several of the [then] rare items that I may sell. I think I have six or seven of these capes somewhere in my house. Just wondering if anyone still ties the classics. I may still have some unmentionable exotics (obtained legally, of course).

I've seen them online anywhere from $100 to $300 depending on the quality.

depending on quality, which is best discerned from close up photos (or handling, really), they may also be worth as little as $30 each - no joke. The highest prices on jungle c - o - c - k are commanded for necks with many small nails of vibrant orange color and no splits. Those appear to have few splits, but abundant small orange nails appear lacking from the photos provided.

I'd be interested in picking up one of the lesser quality capes. I only tie for fishing purposes and not for display.

I was thinking the same as LunkerFish. If the price is right, I would really like to get into tying Classic Streamers and what not.

jungle **** in "tying-for-fishing" grade can be had on eBay, usually many splits, but a good selection to choose from.

ha ha - can't believe it censored that

jungle c - o - c - k

Hard to say without seeing them up close and personal. They don't appear to be top grade just from the pics. But i would surmise around $30-$75 or so depending on quality.

Thanks SSpey. If Baitbucket doesn't want to part with them locally then I think I will pick up one of the ones on ebay.
