Where to buy UHMW?
Looking for a sheet of UHMW, probably 5 feet wide and five feet long or so...any ideas where I can purchase some of this? Thickness isn't that important.

Re: Where to buy UHMW?
Also Laird Plastics, Port plastics, Applied Industries, and Multi Craft came up in the Ifish search engine.

Re: Where to buy UHMW?
Jason you should google multi-craft palstics in Tigard. They're on Tech Center just off of 72nd Ave.

Re: Where to buy UHMW?
Did you ask UHMW of this board? He might know something about UHMW. I've got it at multicraft, they have "regrind" which is recycled new plastic. Ferguson Industrial plastic I have bought maybe 800 tons from for projects at work, they have it but you might find better customer service elsewhere.
Tap or multicraft can special order whatever you need.

Re: Where to buy UHMW?
I buy it for work from Laird Plastics.
FYI, they also have some nifty cutting board material that is way better than UHMW. I don't know what your going to use it for but I have also used something called expanded PVC which is great for dividers, covers etc, is way cheaper than UWMW and unlike UHMW, can be easily glued.
I bought a 5' X 10' X 1/8" sheet UHMW last year for $118 (I think)
I suggest that you tell the folks at the counter what your doing and what they would recommend.
If you need something milled, cut, bent or molded, Applied Plastics Machining is right down the street from Laird.

Re: Where to buy UHMW?
Thanks for all the replies...I'm going to use it to cover a large firepit so that the firebrick isn't exposed to all the rain we'll soon be getting.

Re: Where to buy UHMW?
Went to Multi-craft plastic and purchased 1/4" sheet of clear acrylic that works perfectly to cover the fire pit. Thanks for the leads!
