Default The run has started!!!

Since I'm going to be gone for her birthday, I decided to treat Hog's Nurse with an early present.

After a ton of huffing and puffing, endlessly climbing an extension ladder and a small incident involving a crash with a fish and a shin from about 12' (she forgave me) the end result came out like this:

(BTW, for perspective, that is a 50" TV)

I wanted to paint them silver and make them a little "truer" but she likes them as they are.

Who am I to argue?

Seems to have turned out.

Good point!

I asked her which way she wanted them and she picked it, but we should have realized they need to be going upstream!

Those are all obviously Spring fish and not fall fish. You are a fake and you should be ashamed of yourself for trying to post those fish as if you caught them and then doing a LAM post here on IFish.......yeah whatever!!!

I used to believe in you HM...but I think you act more like Guidegirl.....so....
whatever.

Not true!

In fact, I think it is pretty plain to see that they are TULES!!

Do I have to get a newspaper out and show the date? I have never even met Guide Girl!

Sinker would be the one in front. It was the one that took the sudden deep dive. Hook would be the one in the middle. OK, I admit, I got it last spring. So I guess technically it is a springer. It hooked me into the idea of lifting off the coffee table it was sitting on with a couple others. I guess that would make the back one Line, which is kinda appropriate since it broke the line about three times due to an un-noticed burr...

No Pinnepeds allowed here!! No gill nets either!

Notice they are swimming to the boat in the second shot? Here fishies!!

Hey Hogmaster,

Did you really get up on a ladder and use tools or did you just "Photoshop" them into the pictures.

You know how high up that is (since you built it and all!)

Yes, I climbed the extension ladder all by myself. Tools? Yip, I have puncture wounds and bludgeonings to prove it!

Come on over and check it out - from what I have heard about your ability to cast into trees, they ought to be easy pickings for you!

I would like to have some myself, so I say give up the hole you got those out of or I am reporting you for 1. The keeping of a native nook. 2. Catching more than you two a day limit. Nice Room

Oh, OK then!

Z-Gallerie, Bridgeport Mall.

Not as expensive as you might think, and not as cheap as you want.

But I fished out the last of them.

Which is why I am posting this.

So, who nurses the nurse when the tables are turned?

I can just see Gary in a 20-yard gauze backlash. And I don't even want to think about scissors!

Great job -- and Happy Birthday!

Jack, Jack, Jack,

I thought you would recognize I would be an excellent care-giver, given my extensive experience with injuries and all.

Lemee see, it goes something like this:

Fade in...

Gauze in endless knots and rats nests, covering most of the room and none of it in the flat and originally intended shape.

"Honey, just hold still, as long as we get enough wraps around it there is no problem with the gauze being sort of twisted!"

"Owie!!!"

"Oh, comon now, it can't hurt that much. Hmmm... maybe we ought to get you off the carpet. It might cause you a lot of trouble trying to get all that blood out of it."

"Owie Owie!!"

"Hang tough, Hun. Just a couple more wraps. Kitty! Let go of that!"

"OWIE!!!"

"Uhm... Maybe it is better to just let it air dry..."

Nah, Dustin.

I keep flinging spinners up there, and they keep hanging up on the beams. Hog's Nurse expects me to take them down. Something about upsetting the "aesthetic experience"?

Anybody know where I can score a good anti-gravitational bobber and some steel eggs?

Maybe a "stone fly"??
