Default Saturday's Geese

Had a great time Saturday in the field with lingcodmaster and our dads. Had some issues setting up early that required moving our entire spread 300 yards just before shooting light (7 dozen dekes and 4 layout blinds). The geese were willing to work and it was great to see more Tav's around than last week. Had some suicidal Cack's that just didn't want to leave the DSD's, boy those decoys hold the geese!

Heres the days bag

Very cool! I don't think the geese disappointed too many hunters yesterday.

How do you hide 4 blinds in a flat field like that ? I'd like to see a pix of the blind set-up...We can flare birds if we leave a gum wrapper out...

Bruce, I have to find a way to rival your season totals . Practice makes perfect.

I wish we were magicians and could hide in that short green stuff, but we aren't. Use an edge!

We had a hide in a thin strip of weeds at the edge of the field. Once we got all the blinds in the weeds the birds didn't seem to notice us until it was too late. Plus the birds were new to the area.
