Default summer lake

I was thinking of a trip to summer lake, but know nothing about it. I have looked on line and camping, parking, and hunting areas are clearly marked on a map i found, but how realistic is my thinking of going down there and figuing out where to hunt with a chance of success? Any summer lake regulars that want to pm a little advice would be great.

go on a storm spend three days, you will get a good idea. see where they are hunting then check out the flight with binoculars. i hope to pull my trailer up this weekend. spend all day in the field moving to the birds. some days the best time is 11:00 to 3:00 in some flight patterns. wind is the key to summer lake hunting. it will always be better hunting if the wind is strong

We plan on camping at the "Barn" this weekend and seeing if a few snow geese want to play. If you are in the area Baltz/Ifishers come by and say hello. There will be a few adults and a few older Boy Scouts in our group. Look for the 2005 one ton Chev with a Citation Camper. Knock them dead and be safe out there guys..
