What was going on in Ilwaco Saturday?

I just happen to take a quick run to the boat ramp at Ilwaco and noticed the parking lot nearly full. What was going on? I heard of one boat going out looking for Tuna. Could there be that many crabbers? I've never seen it that full this late in the year.

Weather was great and there were a lot of people crabbing. We had almost limits and also went clamming over the weekend.

Clamming was good. 10 minutes each day for limits. Clams were very good size. Took longer to drink a beer then to clam for limits.

We went crabbing early and then pulled the boat from the slip to take home. A little slower for us with 18 keeper for three guys. Sure was nice out, although when I got there before first light there was light frost on the docks.
