First Deer
Well, finally after a lot of seemingly fruitless hours of hiking and getting up early, it eventually paid off. On Sunday morning my son Tyler was able to connect on this nice 3x2 in the Applegate Unit near Grants Pass. As you can see, he was very excited to have harvested his first deer. Look at the knee joint on the left front leg. It was about twice the normal size. Apparently it had been broken some time ago and healed over with the bone relocating itself away from where it was supposed to be.......Weird.

Re: First Deer
I've got almost the same picture of my son with his first buck taken 7 years ago. It was a smile and an experience I will never forget. Nice job and I hope you keep up the good work on taking him out even during the terrible teen years.
