new ifisher
hey iam new to ifish i love to hunt i basicly live on sauvies island durring duck season. My story to start my ifishing..
About four years ago i was hunting ducks out at gaston with my dad and his friend and the day was going slow but i was calling at some pinners and as i was calling at them some teal had landed in the decoys, but i did not see them because i was watching the pinners. My dad said "ok nic lets shoot", well as he said that the pinners came in range, but my dad had no idea i was thinking about the pinners. So we stood up and shot and he shot at the teal and none droped, but i shot my pinner and i said i got him. My dad asked what i had hit because he never saw any of the teal shot. I showed him the pinner i shot and my dog meeka went and retreaved it and brought it back to me witch was her first duck retreave ever and it was a banded pintal. all and all it was my fav hunt ever limits or no limis. my dad and i out hunting and my dog gets her first retreave on a band.

Re: new ifisher
Duckmaster25, excellent story! Welcome to iFish!! There are very few things that compare to a good father-son hunting experience. I'm glad you and your dad get out together.
