Default boat'n SI for ducks

I just finished up a project boat for duck hunting. A 14 ft 1970 Hewes Craft flat bottom Jon boat, I'll be using the kicker motor from my other boat to power this boat. I can use some information on using it at SI. Things like what lake and what the routine is. Heck I'll even take someone who has the know how.
I'm also trying to name the boat, the two that I've got right now are "The Petunia" and "The Rattle Can".

I have a boat , but haven't taken it to SI. I used to see boats on the North Unit, and West Unit, but I think it is a bit trickey. NU is impacted heavily by the tide, and the West U.probaly need pretty high water. I am not the person to give advice as I havent hunted SI for 10 years, but to hunt the West Unit, I am thinking you need to go through the line like everyone else and then go to the ramp. I have seen some dudes hammer em on good days shooting from a boat blind on Crane and Cunningham, but I think in all cases you probably need pretty high water, and at least at the North Unit, you should know what the tides are doing. As you probably know, it can be a really bad day to get stuck out there, and that may be why not so many responses.
