My Biggest Monster Salmon Ever~~Video of the Action plus some secrets and tips revealed. Exciting action caught on video by the Bill Shelton, the angler as he fights the fish. This was my best salmon and will go down as a happy day for me. The reel clicker was left on so you can tell when the fish is taking or giving line.
Some tips on rigging regarding mini lights that were hot glued onto the FBR and tricking out a dropper rig with striker hook rigged with a shank whisker for turning a small J hook into a real striker. I tried to shorten it up as it was about a 15 minute battle. I design the camera system so it could give you the view as seen by me looking down the rod. Just imagine it was you fighting the salmon. Great video Bill. I love the simultaneous "Holy $&(!#@&!" when you guys see the fish, the way amplitude of the shaking of your hand on the rod goes up as the fight goes on, and the guy yelling to the other boat "50 pounds, easy!"

Awesome stuff. I was the net man on a 50 pounder out at Duxbury once. I love late fishing up there. Not lots of fish, but some real ocean piggys. My best was 33 pounds out of there.

Several long tearing runs ... classic Chinook. My second favorite fish. Nice video ..thanks for sharing.
